  2. Describe the process of designing individualized insulin treatment regimens in the outpatient setting that balance physiologic needs with patient self-care considerations
  3. List common obstacles to insulin initiation and treatment stemming from issues such as culture, self-care ability, and regionalized healthcare delivery issues
  4. Provide effective means of overcoming identified obstacles to insulin initiation and treatment
