Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the activity, participants should be able to:
- Assess the patient with MRSA-related diabetic foot infection, including use of culturing techniques to guide antibiotic selection
- Compare and contrast the safety and efficacy of available antibiotics for the management of MRSA in the diabetic foot
- Implement evidence-based and patient-centered management of MRSA in the diabetic foot to improve outcomes

Each virtual patient activity consists of 2 patient visits of 0.5 credits each. Physicians can earn 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ per patient visit. Podiatrists must complete 2 patient visits to earn 1 continuing education contact hour.
To be eligible for documentation of credit, participants must participate in the entire patient visit, complete the 5-question post-test with a score of 80% or better, and complete the evaluation form.
